Links today contain quite a few of interest. I was most interested to see an article on the need for digital archives and curation (Deluge of Scientific Data Needs to Be Curated for Long-Term Use<\/a>). The fact that it came out via the Association for Computing Machinery<\/a> was what caught my attention. Always nice to see that one’s field is important to the larger world.<\/p>\n

The other thing which was particularly applicable to me was the cartoon above. I wonder, as I try to get my survey participation up, whether I’m subject to the phenomenon of only getting people who like to take surveys’ input. If you’re from the US, the British Isles, or Canada, and use a different computer at home than you do at work, and don’t like surveys<\/i>, feel free to come take mine<\/a>!<\/p>\n
