Nothing much to say, except that it’s supposedly Spring, here in Glasgow. That means that we’re only wearing 3 layers of clothes on top (a t-shirt, a sweater, and a jacket) and have given up on the long underwear underneath.<\/p>\n

This is what we see, now, when we look out our windows. It’s all turning green, and coming into bloom. One of D’s classmates, though, said, “enjoy it – this is Glasgow’s summer! Get out into the sun, ’cause it’ll be gone in a week!” She was right, unfortunately: it’s started to blow, and rain some more.<\/p>\n

But it’s still sunny, and we still have tremendous light coming in through these (single-pane) windows. Yes, it’s a bit chillier in this house. Yes, it’s a bit louder (and let’s not even talk<\/i> about the guy Sunday morning hollering, “gie uz a pint!” to the gas station clerk). But … it’s blooming. And it’s green. And it’s probably the best flat we’ve had, here, yet.<\/p>\n
