What will people will look like in <i>that insufferably broiling<\/i> heat? The woman from the building next door &#8212; whose package T. was holding &#8212; dropped in and complained, &#8220;One hates to complain, but it&#8217;s really <i>too much!<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=Indent>Dear Britain: It&#8217;s not really <i>too hot<\/i>. Technically, by California standards, it&#8217;s just pleasant, not even <i>hot<\/i>.
