Yes, thanks, Chris, even before you mentioned it, we were thoroughly, disgustingly prepared — and after all the nonsense, they never even looked at the pages of immunization records! But I shan’t quibble. Much.
But as for the ‘traveling and fun’ mentioned by another blogger (ahem), I’m not seein’ it. I’m seeing someone BORED out of their GOURD and restless and finding four jobs to work because of it. I shall be the one dragging certain persons off to view random buildings or waterways or museums.
Oh — okay. All except for that blasted wheel. I already know I’m doomed to see that one. Repeatedly…

Philosophy papers are boring? Umm… that’s kind of the whole point of going for a PhD in Philosophy, though.
Yes – one of the consulate workers told us that we’d love it, and wouldn’t mind the rain. She’s quoted there in the post – she actually said that, and that she’d just gotten back and loved it. So. Warm Rain.
