We expect to see a lot of this today, as we’re flying from Glasgow to Amsterdam and on to San Francisco. It’s apparently just as cold there. Thus, the universe works against us. When we went back last June, we had temperatures of up to 115F (46C). That was … a bit much. But now? Now we’re wondering whether we ought to have packed our long underwear! (You can keep on wondering about that)
15 hours of flying and we’ll arrive at SFO, to all the joys of the Bay Area, and to 2 hours of extra sunshine every day.
