In honor of the end of the school year (well – it’s not over, except that D has had his end-of-year review – but close), we’re resurrecting one of our old traditions: Bad Movie Night. This usually involves Bad Science Fiction Movies (one night we watched Buck Rodgers and Barbarella). We’ve started, though, to take a more balanced approach, with last weekend being both Star Trek, the Motion Picture and The Maltese Falcon. Casablanca was the weekend before.
Today, we baked bread, a Quorn Family Roast, and are going to settle in for an evening of Mary of Scotland (Katherine Hepburn, 1936) followed by The Wrath of Khan. Sandwiches and bad / old movies. What better, for a wet, Scottish evening.

If you want to watch a bad movie, watch Doomsday. It takes place in Scotland in 2035, and all of the Glaswegians have turned into cannibalistic punks with facial tattoos.
Seriously, one of the worst movies I’ve ever sat through.
Sounds like fun. 😉

Khaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn!! Fav quote from the movie 😉
Lol I’ve watched both Buck and Barbarella and that’s when they were new! 🙂 🙂
