T-4 Days

Our friend Paz (from Paz’s New York Minute and The Cooking Adventures of Chef Paz) thought that she’d figured out where we’re going for our holiday. She was being sneaky, and read T’s blog, which mentioned a possible trip later on this summer to Bulgaria (D. has some work there, maybe). We’re sorry to say that she’s wrong, but we’re also happy to tell her that she’s the first to weigh in with a guess. Bravo, Paz!

Any other guesses? And, yes: the picture shown here is a hint, albeit a strange one.

  1. LOL! And I thought I was so clever. *sigh*

I read the post below, but I couldn’t find a clue in there. Are you sure you put one in there for us (or for simple folks like me)?

Are you going anywhere near Bulgaria?

The guy in the photo looks Roman. Are you going to Rome? Although he kind of reminds me of Spock from Star Trek. You going to Spock’s hometown?

Paz (who will continue to guess)

  2. Umm… we’re not going to the Planet Vulcan, no. 😉 He looks Roman, does he? Hmmmmm!

Lori: yeah, Greece, Rome … is there a difference (ducks, hiding from an entire subcontinent). 😉

  3. Yeah, Planet Vulcan! Okay, you’re not going there. Hmmm….

LOL! That is not a good answer about the Rome/Greece question.

You bought a phrasebook. Share with us one of the phrases? A common phrase perhaps?

    More clues, please….

    Paz

  4. OK, OK! One more hint, and that’s it for today!

Leaving from Glasgow, flying on KLM, it will take us 9 hours of travel (with 2 changes of plane) to get there.

    Does that help?

  5. Hey – I’ve met Paz!! In New York, almost exactly a year ago (And Paz – I’ve met both T and D twice – once in Glasgow and once in Tallinn. It’s a small world, you know :))

  6. My vote for destination would be somewhere in Italy, possibly Rome. But the stone face in the picture had the leaves on the head…. I forget what they are called, but didn’t the greek philosopholers wear those things along with their togas? Greece?
