Shadow Shot Sunday: Oban

Today’s Shadow Shots are from Oban Harbor and from the ferry trip over to the Isle of Mull. The day was so incredibly bright, you’d almost believe that it weren’t Scotland! We had to go out and buy a sun-hat for T., because the tweed hat (packed against the rain) wasn’t adequate protection, it was so bright.

Happy Shadow Shot Sunday!

Shadow Shot Sunday

Today’s Shadow Shot was taken at 5:20 a.m., in Glasgow, Scotland. To the left is the shadow cast upon the wall outside of the bathroom, through the window shown to the right. Yep – the sun was already well and truly UP at 5:20, and had been for about an hour by then. This is the craziness of living so far north, and partial recompense for the long, dark Winters.

Happy Shadow Shot Sunday!

Shadow Shot Sunday

Greetings, all! Today’s Shadow-Shot-Sunday is brought to you by the wonderful people of the town of Pitlochry. The town is about half-way to the Scottish Highlands, and is a wonderful place for tour buses to stop for lunch. Shown here is the bench outside of the public toilet facility, just alongside of the parking lot for the tour buses.

Happy Shadow Shot Sunday!

Shadow Shot Sunday – Glasgow Uni

This week’s Shadow Shot Sunday is going to be just outright bending the rules into a pretzel. You see, in order to have shadows you must first have SUN. In the absence of sun, though, we’ll give you this: a snow shadow. Yep – if you look, you’ll see the “shadow” of where the angle of the snow left an impression of the tree.

Hope you’ve had (or are having) a wonderful Sunday!

Shadow Shot Sunday – Dunkeld Cathedral

This week’s Shadow Shot Sunday was a difficult one for us, as the day was bright and glorious yesterday, and we were visiting someplace quite picturesque: Dunkeld Cathedral! So – which shadow shot should we have chosen? Do click through to the photostream to have a look at the rest.

Hope you’ve had (or are having) a wonderful Sunday!
