It’s time for another time-waster! No, I don’t mean the holiday, though that is its own particular waste of time. I’m talking about these lovely little conversation hearts!
Don’t know what the plan is for today, but it won’t include anything pink and covered with frosting, although sometime this weekend we may whip up a batch of butternut squash pasta, just for fun — because if there’s a food to love, that’s certainly it! Or, if the focus is on red/pink/purple, we might just roast some beets, and splurge on a bit of good feta. (Our chiropractor — who is quietly horrified that we’re trying to go vegan — has let us know that goat’s milk is the closest to human milk.
To which we wanted to reply, “This recommends it how?!?!? Instead we made appropriate noises and nodded, and went home utterly bewildered and slightly squicked out.)
Anyway — weird goat milk conversations aside, we hope you have a great day, and hey — if you don’t like our goth conversation hearts, you can always make your own. In floofy pink.
