Well, everybody, we’ve made it back to Glasgow. It’s sunny, not too terribly cold, and not at all rainy. We’re off to do some shopping, to get new bus passes, and to basically keep ourselves awake until the evening is old enough for us to reasonably go to sleep. Right back into things, D. has an appointment with a professor in the morning followed by a seminar at noon. T., of course, has beat him to it, with a writing group this evening (hence the staying awake). Thursday will see us back in Choir, and back into the swing of life in Glasgow.
Off to the grocery right now, though: we turned off the heater while we were away, so it’s positively Arctic in here!

Wish I was at that writing group meeting… Our internet was down for two hours this evening, now back on. It is enough to make me want to kick a fence.
Hooray! Glad you made it back safely, and may your heater work faster than you could ever imagine.
Welcome back guys 🙂
Glad that you are back home safe and sound! And doubly glad that you are able to turn the heat back on!
Welcome back to Glasgow 🙂 You have been lucky, it has been rainy and windy all weekend, till today at 9 AM. 😉 Enjoy Scotland – Cheers, Mark
I echo Jackie and everyone’s sentiments. Glad you’re back home safe and sound and you can turn on the heat. 😉
Best,
paz
So pleased to hear you’re back at it in Scotland! I hear even the Duna is showing signs of freezing… Europe is c-o-l-d right now!
Hope you guys stay warm and enjoy the frost!
: )
Welcome back!
Welcome back! My flat was an ice box when I retured too – it took it a few days to really heat up again.
