The other night I went out with some friends (one of whom was kind enough to bring us Maple Syrup all the way from Canada!). After dinner, we ended up wandering about in search of someplace quieter, as the place we’d had dinner was getting all settled in to have a DJ, rapidly clearing out those of us who wanted to actually be heard. We ended up just down the street, at Uisge Beatha.
The lad shown here … was from here. Tell me, any of you out there who have any insight: why would someone go out for a night on the town wearing a “Viking” helmet made of plastic? I suppose it’s all part of why he’d stand around, chatting up strangers, happy to have his picture taken?
Ehhh stag party? Part of his therapy battling shyness? He must have had a very good reason…
Haha… the word verification on this one was "fullyzat" ("zat" means very drunk in Dutch)
LOL!

You know I really can't say…I'm biased since I work in a psych hospital…where he'd fit in really well.
We dress like that at work every day. I fail to find the humor.
maybe an opera extra?
I love people with interesting faces, what a great face.
He don't look overly ruddy, so not sotted I think. Perhaps one of LWs relatives on his way here for a visit:) Bean
The key point, here, is that this guy's wearing a fur-trimmed jacket. If it were just the towel and the plastic helmet, that would be one thing. But the jacket … is his own, personal touch.
We don't quite get the full effect, here, either, because there were other horned animals in the place, but they were decently stuffed, mounted, and hung on the walls.
A Wagner fan perhaps? He looks straight from a scene in Das Rheingold. Did he sing?
He was moving to Norway, has a Norwegian GF and this was the send off for him by his mates.
